Speed Rating Note ... This was not a good race to speed rate ... I have plenty of data on many of the individual runners, and normally, it is fairly easy to derive the race adjustments from this type of data ... But for this type of race, there were far more inconsistencies in the data fitting than I want see ... It does happen on rare occasions, and this is one of them.

For horse races, I put races like this aside and ignore them until I have subsequent race results for comparison ... and then I either exclude the races completely from handicapping decisions or try to extract something that might be useful in the future.

Some  people might love the ratings posted below and I'm sure some people will be unhappy ... Example: the Utah boys (for the most part) have ratings well above their seasonal ratings ... Orem & Timpanogos have team ratings that would place them very high nationally, and maybe they are that good right now!  Others below are uncharacteristically low ... a smaller percentage of individuals than I would like fall within preferred consistencies ranges.

The numbers below are my fit for the time being ... Speed Ratings are relative numbers and this meet was simply not relative enough ... Please, NO inquiries wanting an explanation.
